I can easily say that this site wins the most provocative home page award. They are not afraid to show you what the site is about and what they encourage. It's pretty self-explanatory, but if nudity or sexuality offends you, it's best to stay clear of this site. The front page has a couple previews of other profiles, and no one is afraid to show a little bit of skin.

I have to say that the layout is a lot different from most other sites. I wouldn't say it's the best, but it's certainly different. I do like the dark-ish colors and combinations though. Their images help to tie the page together pretty nicely and it does look rather promising in terms of a matchmaking website.
True.com definitely has a positive message just from viewing the front page. It looks pleasantly attractive, and well worth your time, even without reading anything at all. This is only a first impression though, which is still a good feature. If you can't get accustomed to a site's layout, then you most likely won't be staying a member there for very long.
"Are you ready to experience real chemistry?" Is what Chemistry.com says. I suppose I am - or ready to see just how well this site delivers. This is obviously a dating website created for singles looking for, well, other singles.
At a first glance, it could be very difficult to tell if 4ppl.com is really a matchmaking site. There's just bunches of information spread about on the front page, so it's hard to infer what the website is right away; but on closer inspection, it's another matchmaking site, and a fairly good one at that.
Matchmaker.com is another one of the simplistic dating websites. Its layout is a clean white, with not much else. There's some neat designs here, but no information on the front page. You can infer what the site is for, but the lack of information is really a killer for some websites.
Fling.com is definitely one of the more "suggestive" dating websites. It's targeting adults specifically - singles even more specifically. People are on this website for all different kinds of things though, like: Fetish, Group Fun, Sexual Relations, Online Flirting, etc. So not everyone is using this website for dating - and you don't have to either.
Yahoo is known for it's wide variety of sites and such - since it is one of the biggest internet names around. Well, now they even have a dating site. It's already easy to assume that with such a large name, there will be a large amount of people on this website.
The word mingle means "to bring or combine together or with something else." In terms with the dating website, it means to bring people together. Aw, how cute. In all seriousness though - can this site do what their URL implies? A look around the is sure to answer that. At least you can browse all the contents of the site even without signing up.
So, first impression of this website: liked it, it feels a bit different from other dating websites. The layout feels like it was actually worked on considerably and not just thrown together to save time like you would see on a lot of other sites. Also liked the message they are sending their members. DowntoEarth.com wants you to know that there are only respectable members that enjoy their services.
