The verdict came quickly though, and I was immediately impressed by the site’s sleek design and nice friendly layout and colors. It’s easy, it has a very pleasant layout, it’s well informative, I can’t wait to see what the site has to offer.

The sign up process takes very little time to complete; probably 3 minutes at most if you choose to fill in all of your personal information right away. If you do that though, the  site can instantly match you up with singles that meet your personal preferences – a very handy feature! Now, the search through member options begins. The word mingle means “to bring or combine together or with something else.” In terms with the dating website, it means to bring people together. Aw, how cute. In all seriousness though – can this site do what their URL implies? A look around the is sure to answer that. At least you can browse all the contents of the site even without signing up.  The front page is..cluttered, to say the least. It’s a mediocre layout and color scheme with bunches of information scattered throughout. You’ll find the menu, search bar, lots of annoying tags, and some popular singles towards the bottom. There is one informatory snippet though that lets you know all of the features available on the site – for free.

Everything that is available to a free member is as follows:  free online dating, blogs, clubs, groups, social networking, parties, tagging,matchmaking, free personals, chat, and forums. I’m always intrigued by forums and chat rooms because they tend to be a leading factor in most dating websites. Since a lot of free dating sites don’t have these things – it may be worth your time to look into mingles.com just to take a peak at all the tools and features they offer. If you don’t know – groups are made by people who bring other people with a common interest together (There’s that mingle definition again!). The site is so friendly it actually almost feels like it is child oriented. Of course it’s not, because it’s strictly forbidden to anyone under 18; But the feel of it still feels a little kiddish. That is not a bad thing though for people who actually enjoy something like that with a friendly, harmless feel to it.

Other than the layout though, there are definitely more things to take note of. There are a couple of different things that woome offers to its members, and a few of these things are rarely seen. First of all there are things called “sessions.” When in a session, you will be having a conversation with a bunch of other people on a certain topic, may it be: animals, TV shows, or just chatting. It’s simply an easy and interactive way to get to know people; plus, sessions also have audio and video capabilities. Speaking of video, woome also has a special video section to the website. This is where people post their videos of themselves – usually after having a session with another member. It helps a lot if you get to see someone and how they act, rather than just reading some information about them that could mean nothing. Other than these two things though, everything else will seem pretty ordinary. There are picture uploading and profile posting, people browsing, etc.
