  The huge thing this online dating site has, that sets it apart from most others, is its extensive blog section. There’s tons of blog posts every day, on a variety of different subjects. If you’re wondering what kind of a person someone is, you can always check and see if they posted and blogs about themselves. Or, you can even write something about yourself, to let people know what you think about something. There is an extensive member list on 4ppl.com, with over 900,000 people, and hundreds joining everyday. It would be hard not to find someone you were seeking with those kinds of numbers.

  Overall, the site has a pretty even and organized layout, but it’s a little bland as far as colors go. There are new blog posts every couple minutes, on lots of different subjects, and there are many members to browse and chat with. There are no paid membership options, so what you see is what you get. This is a very nice feature, because you know that you can make contact with any member on the site, with no catches. It’d be nice if they had videos as well, but the options available already for a free profile are certainly worth the 1 minute sign up process. The free dating website is definitely worth looking at, and at least trying out.

Well, they said sign up would take approximately 60 seconds, and it did. A short sign up is always nice, as it allows you to get right into the site quicker. There are lots of online interactive cartoons that go along with the site, who help you throughout the sign up and help get you going once you’re all set up. It’s kind of interesting, and different.

Hopefully you didn’t stop reading the review, because once you’re actually in the online dating site, there’s a lot more content than expected. There’s an interesting feature that allows you to take tests created by other users, so people can see what kind of personality or likes/dislikes you possess. Or, you can even create your own user test. Besides that, you are allowed to upload photos, look for match ups, or just browse for other singles. Every member also has a journal, which basically functions just like a blog, explaining different things about oneself or their experiences. The one other unique thing OkCupid presents, is an extra section devoted to random things – thus the section is called “Fun Stuff.” It has: forums, to post and start threads in; chances to win free stuff for referring people to the site; a few games for fun; and a humor and a “hotlist” section.

www.okcupid.com doesn’t appear to be much on the outside, but after the quick sign up you’ll see that there’s much more than one may have initially thought. It’s true that the layout is a little bland, but for being 100% free, the content that’s available is definitely worth it, and very unique from other matchmaking sites. The site is growing everyday and it will grow even more, if you decide to take the short 60 seconds to sign up.
